Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy covers the English version of our website (marcoteca.com/en) and the waitlist for Marcoteca in English. If you create an account in the app, our Portuguese privacy policy applies until the English version launches.
1. Who we are
Marcoteca is a brand portal tool based in Brazil, and it is the controller of the data described here. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@marcoteca.com.
2. What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Your approximate country, inferred from your connection at signup. We don't store your IP address.
- Site usage, in aggregate: pages visited, referrer, device type and country. It isn't tied to you or to your email.
3. Why we use it
- To email you when Marcoteca launches in English. That's the only email the waitlist gets.
- To understand which countries are interested, in aggregate.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
We rely on your consent for the waitlist (you give it by submitting your email) and on our legitimate interest for site analytics.
4. Who processes it
We don't sell your data. These providers process it for us:
- Resend: stores the waitlist and sends the launch email.
- Vercel: hosts the website and provides cookieless, aggregate analytics.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own data protection safeguards.
5. Cookies
The English site doesn't set analytics or advertising cookies. Our analytics are cookieless and only count visits in aggregate.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email until the English launch and for a short while after it, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to hello@marcoteca.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Changes
We'll update this policy when Marcoteca launches in English. The date at the top shows the current version.
